Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Effective: June 2026. Applies to members in Washington State, California, and other states with consumer health data privacy laws. Fika Holdings Pte. Ltd.

Scope of this policy

This policy applies to the collection and use of “consumer health data” as defined under Washington State’s My Health MY Data Act (MHMD), California’s similar provisions, and other applicable state law. It supplements Fika’s main Privacy Policy.

What health data Fika may process

Fika is a Social Membership Club, not a health or medical service. However, certain data that Fika collects may fall within the broad definition of “consumer health data” under applicable state law:

Age and date of birth — collected to confirm members are 18 or older.
Biometric data — facial geometry data collected during identity verification. See our Biometric Privacy Policy.
Inferences about wellbeing — where compatibility test responses could be interpreted as relating to mental or social wellbeing.

Fika does not collect medical records, diagnoses, treatment information, or any traditional health data.

How Fika uses this data

Any data that falls under the consumer health data definition is used solely to provide the Fika membership service — specifically to verify identity, make introductions, and improve the quality of those introductions. Fika does not sell consumer health data. Fika does not use consumer health data for advertising.

Your rights under applicable law

If you are located in Washington State, California, or another state with consumer health data privacy protections, you have the right to:

Know what consumer health data Fika has collected about you.
Access that data.
Request correction or deletion of that data.
Withdraw consent for processing.
Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

No sale or sharing for advertising

Fika does not sell consumer health data to any third party. Fika does not share consumer health data with advertising networks, data brokers, or any party for marketing purposes.
