How to delete your account
You can delete your Fika account at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Option 1: Delete in the app
- Open the Fika app and go to Settings.
- Tap Account.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion. You will receive a confirmation email.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
Send an email to growth@fikaconnects.com from your registered email address with the subject line “Delete my account.” We will process your request within 30 days and send you a confirmation.
What happens when you delete your account
- Your Story, compatibility test responses, and meeting history are permanently deleted.
- Any pending introductions are cancelled.
- Your identity verification data is deleted from Fika’s systems. See our Biometric Privacy Policy for details on biometric data deletion.
- If you have an active paid membership, deletion does not automatically issue a refund — see our Refund Policy.
Data we may retain
In some circumstances, Fika is required by law to retain certain data after account deletion — for example, records of safety incidents, transaction records for tax purposes, or data subject to a legal hold. This retained data is kept securely, is not used for any service purpose, and is deleted as soon as the legal obligation expires.
Tokens
Any unused Tokens in your account at the time of deletion are forfeited. Tokens are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.
Changed your mind? Once you confirm deletion, the process cannot be reversed. If you want to pause instead of permanently delete, go to Settings › Account › Pause Membership.
