We will collect your complete profile as data; this includes, but not limited to, your name, your gender, date of birth, and your descriptive tags (characteristics, social style, interests). We will also collect your scrolling actions as data. All the data we collect will be used to give you a better experience in the app.
We will also collect chat aggregate data which includes messages sent and its frequency, average response time and messages received and its frequency. This means we do not collect any data, such as specific chat messages, which are encrypted and stored in our Firebase database only for you to be able to retrieve chat history.

We strongly advise and urge you, along with all our users, to be careful in sharing personal information. It is not advisable to include email addresses, URLs, instant messaging details, phone numbers, full names or addresses, credit card details, national identity numbers, driver's license details, and other sensitive information that could be subject to abuse or misuse on your profile.
When you share information about yourself or engage in communication with other users through the messaging function, the extent of personal information you disclose is at your own discretion and risk.
To prioritize the safety of our users, and provide an optimal user experience, we require users to get verified. This is done through AI face verification, and in some cases photo verification. This verification is crucial to maintaining the integrity of the Fika network and to foster a positive environment for everyone.
When asked for photo verification, the submitted photo undergoes a review process by our operators to make sure that it matches with your profile photo, and thus confirm your identity. It's important to note that verification photos are not added to your profile. We retain the scans for future verification purposes and record-keeping.
When you subscribe to our packages, you provide us with information related to the purchases you make. However, since the purchases are processes through Apple App Store and Google Play Store, we do not store your financial information such as credit or debit card numbers.
This information helps us identify your physical location and we use it to personalize the app and make it easier for you to interact with other Users. Any other time during the app, we don’t use the location at all — you will be able to chat freely, edit your profile and use our other features that will come out in the future.
We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (‘IP’) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
